JFK International Airport
When executives at New York's JFK International Airport asked WL Concepts to design and produce a Holiday exhibit for Terminal 4, we faced the challenge head-on, capturing the multicultural aspects of the Terminal's 51 different carriers - and the attention of its more than half-million seasonal travelers and visitors.
We created "The Many Faces of Holiday", a dramatic, three-story installation 251 feet long and 28 feet high. Combining large-format photographs of smiling children from around the world and story-telling graphics - using dye sublimation for its vibrancy, economics and durability - as well as sheers for added movement, this inspiring display captured the attention (and hearts) of all passersby.
Incorporated into the Terminal's overall holiday theme, cards and celebration invitation, the design also captured us a five-year contract with JFK International Airport.
